About the event
On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina changed the life of author Courtney Kelly forever. After witnessing the impact to the city of New Orleans, she sparked an interest in civil engineering. Now, she has turned her story into a children's book to inspire the next generation of future engineers! Join her for a book reading and discussion of Celeste Saves the City at the Louisiana Children's Museum on Saturday, August 27th at 11:00 AM.
