Detroit Book City’s 7th Annual African-American Family Book Expo 2023

This event will be held on Sat. Feb. 18, 2023 from 12:30pm - 5pm at 8601 Woodward Ave. Detroit 48202 (at Pingree St.) Admission is FREE with Eventbrite ticket.

This one-day family book event is hosted to promote, preserve and sustain literacy while celebrating the Heritage of Black History. Meet a fierce group of talented independent authors of adult & children's books from across the country and purchase their autographed books! Bring the kids to get FREE selfies with our mascot dog "Brodie"! Kids also get free cultural coloring sheets & goodie bags.

This is a free, public event for Adults, Kids & Seniors 65+. Bring or show your Eventbrite ticket to enter.

With respect to post Covid-19 & variants, please be prepared to practice the latest CDC's guidelines to protect all...mask and hand sanitizer required. This event is held in the lower level of the church. The church has an elevator for people with handicap needs.
